Minimalist luxury meets everyday versatility in H&M’s latest designer collaboration with WARDROBE.NYC.
H&M has unveiled its latest designer collaboration, partnering with New York luxury essentials label WARDROBE.NYC to create a timeless capsule collection that champions elevated everyday dressing. Launching on 6 August 2026, the exclusive collection brings together refined tailoring, premium wardrobe staples and effortless versatility.
Founded by renowned fashion editor and stylist Christine Centenera alongside designer Josh Goot, WARDROBE.NYC has built its reputation on creating curated luxury essentials that transcend seasonal trends. The collaboration with H&M distils the brand’s signature philosophy into an accessible collection designed for the modern wardrobe.
“We wanted to create a capsule for H&M that was true to the wardrobe concept: a timeless and honest statement that was both essential and of the moment,” says Josh Goot. “This approach comes from our personal philosophy of dress — it has always been a vital part of WARDROBE.NYC, and you can feel it in the H&M collaboration.”
The collection revisits key pieces from the WARDROBE.NYC archives, presenting a refined edit of contemporary urban style. Impeccably tailored wool coats, structured blazers and tailored skirts form the foundation, complemented by relaxed washed denim, oversized padded bombers, premium hoodies and fluid drawstring trousers that bring a sophisticated ease to everyday dressing.
Designed with versatility at its core, every garment has been created to work seamlessly together, allowing wearers to build a cohesive wardrobe that effortlessly transitions between occasions.
“What we wanted, above all, was for all these pieces to become staples,” says Christine Centenera. “You’re building the base of a wardrobe and mixing it back in — with things you already own and with pieces from the collection itself. That versatility was always the goal.”
Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear at H&M, adds that the collection is built on thoughtful craftsmanship and longevity.
“The way every shape is so well considered — you can really feel how it will be to wear one of these garments just by looking at it. These are pieces that will be in your wardrobe for a long time.”
With quiet luxury and capsule wardrobes continuing to shape global fashion trends, the H&M x WARDROBE.NYC collaboration delivers elevated essentials that balance contemporary design with timeless appeal.
The WARDROBE.NYC x H&M collection will be available from 6 August 2026 at H&M Sandton City, with selected pieces also launching online via Superbalist.
