The Sunset Music Series brings two of South Africa’s biggest stars to the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden on 14 June
With just days to go before one of Johannesburg’s most anticipated winter music events, excitement is building as South African favourites Matthew Mole and Will Linley prepare to take the stage at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
As part of the popular Sunset Music Series, the outdoor concert promises an afternoon of chart-topping hits, feel-good energy and unforgettable live entertainment in one of Johannesburg’s most scenic settings.
Two Generations of South African Music Talent Share the Stage
Beloved for hits such as Take Yours, I’ll Take Mine, Run and his latest single In My Head, Matthew Mole has built a loyal fan base through his uplifting songwriting, infectious performances and authentic connection with audiences.
Joining him is global breakout artist Will Linley, whose career continues to soar internationally. With millions of streams worldwide and popular tracks including miss me (when you’re gone), Last Call and his newest release Holding The Line, Linley has become one of South Africa’s most successful music exports.
Together, the pair will deliver a concert experience that blends crowd favourites, singalong moments and world-class live performances.

The event runs from 13:00 to 17:00, with gates opening at 13:00. Tickets start from R195 (excluding booking fees), and organisers expect strong demand in the final days leading up to the concert.
The 2026 Sunset Music Series continues later this month with performances from Spoegwolf and Francois van Coke on 28 June.
