Johannesburg’s most romantic music and lifestyle celebration is back. Lovers Rock returns for its highly anticipated second edition on Saturday, 14 February 2026, transforming GROUND The Venue into an immersive festival dedicated to love, music, food and connection.

Set to unfold from 11am until midnight, Lovers Rock promises a full-day Valentine’s Day escape designed for couples, friends and music lovers looking for something truly special.

A Festival Rooted in Romance and Culture

Lovers Rock is deeply embedded in the culture and DNA of romance. Created by Coco & J, the couple behind one of South Africa’s most loved lifestyle brands, the festival reflects their passion for food, creativity and meaningful human connection.

J’Something, best known as the lead singer of award-winning band Mi Casa, has also established himself as a respected chef and restaurateur. Alongside his wife Coco, the duo brings their shared love for cooking, culture and community into every detail of the Lovers Rock experience.

Over 12 Hours of Soulful Sound

At its heart, Lovers Rock delivers over 12 hours of music from a handpicked lineup of beloved South African artists.

Headlining the 2026 edition are house-pop icons Mi Casa, joined by the historic reunion of legendary duo Liquideep, returning to the stage together after an 11-year hiatus. Additional supporting DJs and performers will be announced later in February 2026.
