Hyde Park Corner officially opens the festive season on Thursday, 13 November 2025, with an elegant tree lighting ceremony, promising exceptional entertainment, Champagne, and seasonal splendour. This public celebration begins at 5.30 pm in Centre Court, inviting everyone to experience a magical evening.

Exceptional Entertainment for the Hyde Park Corner Tree Lighting

Audiences attending the celebration will enjoy performances from Swing City, featuring Graeme Watkins and Nathan Ro, who will deliver a soulful set of timeless favourites.

Adding signature South African sparkle to the evening, the world-renowned Soweto Gospel Choir takes the stage. The centre also welcomes Mzansi Ballet, performing quintessentially festive and enchanting scenes from The Nutcracker, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, and The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book, ensuring there is something to charm every age.

South Africa’s First Moët & Chandon Pop-Up

In a milestone moment for the centre, Hyde Park Corner unveils South Africa’s first Moët & Chandon Personalisation Pop-Up. Opening from 4 pm on Thursday, 13 November, and running until 3 pm on Sunday, 7 December, this sophisticated pop-up offers guests the opportunity to experience the renowned French brand in an intimate setting.

To mark the official launch, guests can enjoy complimentary tastings of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial on Thursday, 13 November.

Festive Fun and Community Warmth

Families visiting the centre are certainly in for a treat, with Christmas Fairies distributing festive goodies to children throughout the evening. Extending the celebrations across the centre, a giant illuminated teddy bear installation offers interactive fun for little ones.

In partnership with the Teddy Bear Clinic, Hyde Park Corner is spreading warmth and kindness this festive season. Furthermore, Toy Kingdom joins the festivities with a Build-A-Bear activation in Poetry Court from 13 November, coinciding with their exciting new store opening.
