Nederburg Wines has paired up with two top Johannesburg restaurants, Marble and Saint, to offer cycling enthusiasts, wine lovers and/or foodies alike the chance to “lunch like the French do”, during the upcoming Tour de France road cycling race that commences on the 6th and concludes on the 28th of July...
Co-owner of the restaurants, chef David Higgs (a keen cyclist himself), as well as head sommelier, Wikus Human, have jointly developed some delicious French-inspired food and wine pairings using Nederburg wines. These will be served exclusively at Marble in Rosebank, and Saint in Sandton, during the race period.
Offered on weekdays between 5 and 26 July, from 12:00 to 16:00, the special celebratory menu is available at R295 for two courses (starter and mains, or mains and dessert), and R375 for all three courses. Each course is carefully paired with a delicious wine from Nederburg’s lauded Heritage Heroes collection.
