The historic Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel, owned by South African hospitality group MORE Family Collection, proudly announces the opening of its new Stable Suites. This transformation marks an exciting evolution for this landmark nestled in Cape Town’s vibrant Kloof Street neighbourhood, honouring its rich heritage dating back to the 1850s.
The 10 newly converted Stable Suites are positioned on King Street, one of the area’s last remaining cobbled streets. As the most spacious accommodation category at Cape Cadogan, these suites offer generous living areas and interleading, triple, and two-bedroom options, perfect for multi-generational families, business travellers, and guests seeking a more exclusive experience.
Each suite features a separate lounge and bar area, with selected suites boasting private courtyards or Juliet balconies. The name “Stable Suites” is a tribute to the property’s history, originally granted land in 1822 and later home to coach houses and stables.
Enhanced Guest Experiences
For the first time in the hotel’s history, Cape Cadogan welcomes children of all ages within the Stable Suites. This expansion reflects the hotel’s commitment to creating spaces where families can connect while enjoying Cape Town’s lively culture.

Moreover, a partnership with Everard Read, Africa’s oldest and most prestigious gallery, introduces rotating displays of contemporary South African artworks throughout the property.
