A New Love Story Takes Centre Stage

From Shondaland and showrunner Jess Brownell, Season 4 follows bohemian second son Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), who has long resisted society’s expectations to settle down. Despite encouragement from family matriarch Lady Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), Benedict remains determined to chart his own course.

That changes at Violet’s masquerade ball, where he is captivated by a mysterious masked woman known only as the Lady in Silver. With help from his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Benedict attempts to uncover her identity—only to discover that love is far more complicated than appearances suggest.

Unbeknown to him, the woman who has captured his heart is Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a resourceful maid working for the formidable Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung). As fate brings Benedict and Sophie together again, he must reconcile the fantasy of the Lady in Silver with the reality of a cross-class romance that challenges the rigid social codes of their world.
