Women Gathered for a Good Cause
On Sunday, 30 August 2026, women gathered at Gabriella’s Tea Room in Parktown North for 4CHANGE – A Morning of Purpose, a fundraising event hosted by Aobakwe Sebokoane, Mrs South Africa 2026 Finalist, in support of the 4Change Foundation.
The intimate morning brought women together around a shared purpose: to connect, encourage one another and contribute to a cause that creates meaningful community impact. The event combined conversation, inspiration, entertainment and giving, creating a warm space in which women from different walks of life could gather for something bigger than themselves.
A Morning of Purpose and Connection
The programme included guest speaker Yolandi Naicker, Mrs Face of the Universe 2026 1st Runner-Up; Trixie Christoffels, Founder of For Your Body, who co-hosted the morning with Aobakwe; live entertainment by Renee Mabotha; and Erin Miller, representing the 4Change Foundation.
Beyond fundraising, the event reflected Aobakwe’s broader commitment to using her Mrs South Africa journey as a platform for purpose, women’s empowerment and community participation. Through her initiative Women in Movement, she continues to encourage women to move with confidence, purpose and intention.
With Gratitude
A heartfelt thank you to Fairship SA and Sorele Media for their generous donations towards the fundraiser; Metal Line Africa for their continued support throughout Aobakwe’s Mrs South Africa journey; Gabriella’s Tea Room for providing the beautiful setting for the morning; Trixie Christoffels for co-hosting the event alongside Aobakwe; and Renee Mabotha for lending her voice and talent to the morning.
Special appreciation also goes to Aobakwe’s fellow Mrs South Africa 2026 finalists who came out to support her, and to every guest, contributor and supporter who showed up and helped make 4CHANGE – A Morning of Purpose a success.
“4CHANGE was about more than hosting an event,” says Aobakwe Sebokoane. “It was about bringing women into one room for a good cause and reminding ourselves that when women come together with purpose, even a small gathering can create meaningful impact. I am grateful to every person who showed up, contributed and helped us support the 4Change Foundation.”
